Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 October 2026
By downloading or using the CamelReel mobile app (the "App") or this website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
CamelReel lets you turn photos and videos into animated map reels on your device. Features may change over time.
2. Free version and Pro
The App is free to download and supported by ads. You can unlock Pro with a one-time in-app purchase, which provides 1080p export, unlimited stops, no watermark, faster encoding and an ad-free experience. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms and refund policies. Prices vary by region and are shown in the store.
3. Your content
- You keep all ownership of the photos, videos, stories and routes you use with the App.
- We do not claim any rights over your content. It is processed on your device.
- You are responsible for having the right to use the content you add, and for what you share.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for anything unlawful or to infringe others’ rights.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt or misuse the Service or this Website (including the contact form).
5. Third-party services and map data
The App relies on third-party services such as map providers, advertising and app stores. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors and the respective providers.
6. Intellectual property
The CamelReel name, logo, mascot, designs and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them except to use the App as intended.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Routes and map animations are illustrative and must not be used for navigation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or discontinue parts of the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CamelReel’s operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
